Brian Kanyangarara holds a Biochemical Engineering degree from the University of Reading (UK) and an MBA degree, as well as senior management qualifications from top-tier business schools Harvard, INSEAD and the London Business School. Brian has 32 years of experience in Senior Executive positions in Financial, Manufacturing and Services sectors of Industry.
He has operated from the customer-facing frontline, to company Director Level, and has worked in Manufacturing, Business-to-industrial consumer marketing with AECI and Group 5, and in the financial services sector with Nedbank, where he was a Divisional Director. Brian has operated in South Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, the Far East (Hong Kong and Singapore) and in the Middle East.Between September 1998 and April 2005 he fulfilled various senior management roles at Nedbank Limited as Divisional Director Operations, Process Management; as Executive General Manager for Process Management as well as various General Manager Roles within the Technology and Operations division including one as CEO of the Airline Ticket Processing Services (ATPS) Company.
Since May 2005 Brian has been an Executive Consultant focusing on Business strategy development and implementation; Managing Organizational Change Programmes in companies; Business Process Management and Reengineering; Customer Management Consulting; Customer Management Competence Assessments as well as Strategy formulation and implementation and Executive coaching of senior executives and Boards.
